QUESTION: hi,
since college football games are on saturdays i cant play because im jewish. is there a way i can make the nfl if im good enough, if so how?

ANSWER: Mo, hello!

You would need to find a Recreational League that plays their games on weekdays and Sundays.  Depending on your ability and the position you seek to play, you need to contact the colleges of your choice to see if they have a taxi squad that you can be introduced into.  You could only hope to get the attention of any Pro scouts.  You can also check into European League football to see if they could consider you.  

I coach a men's baseball team and most of our games are on Sunday.

The taxi squad would be the reserves that are not on the regular starting team, usally around four players.  They cannot play in an official game unless activated.

In college, a Redshirt Freshman would not play in his first year, in order to give him 4 years of eligibility.
