Question
What process would I have to go through to become a walk on to a school such as Ball State? The walk on process seem to be a mystery to me. Thank you for any help.

Answer
Marcus, Good Morning!

You need to contact the Athletic Department at Ball State immediately.  They will give you the dates and procedures.

Yesterday, I watched Georgia coach Mark Richt in a pregame show.  The Bulldogs have a freshman RB, Moreno.  He walked on and Richt said the man stood out because you could see the passion and extra effort he gave.  Barring unforseen circumstances, he could become one of the great running backs of all time.  So, they look at your stats and your movies and your moves.  But, they are always searching for the man that has the Fire in his Belly.  If you have that kind of stuff, you will be a huge asset to any program, including Ball State.

If you have time, listen to my 20 year old son's band at:

Have a great 2008 !
