hey its me again the junior from wareham who is going to try and walk onto bridgewater state college's football team. thank you soo much for your answer it gave me sooo much hope and i think youve helped me a lot in the mental department. i do have a couple more things to know though, you say i should contact the coaches of bridgewater state? i just call them up and say hi this is mike hyland from wareham high school and im calling because i am very interested in your football program? i have mo idea what to ask and what to say...do i have my high school coach call or me, and what do i say?

Michael, hello!

You are bold enough to write me, so you certainly are bold enough to call the Bridgewater State Coach.  

Yes, you tell him you want to play ball for that team and he will be very interested in seeing if you can back up your statement!  So, do it.  I do not know if your high school Coach would make the contact for you, but if he doesn't, you need to follow through.  You can be mentally tough without being brash or cocky.  If BSC is your chosen path, you need to run the route.  If you do not hear from their Athletic Department, keep shopping other schools.  Do not give up.  If you are a quality footballer, some school out there will be thrilled to have you help win games.  
When you get on the roster, let me know.  I want a free ticket to watch you play!
