Question
I know that tinted visors are illegal but what if my visor is clear but has a color to it? I have a color visor but its not tinted. Is it ok to wear it?

Answer
Justin, I just went to the NCAA Rules for 2006 and it states that no visors are allowed that are NOT clear, but I do not know if the 2007 rules are the same.

Take care,

Justin, hello!

By chance, I just returned from a state high school football Official's meeting tonight!  The visors can only be clear, no tint.  But, that's the high school rules.  I'll have to see if NCAA allows it.  Go to their website (NCAA.com) and search.  If I find it before you, I will write to you!
