Question
Is it really possible to get a shot on an open NFL field if you played college football for 4 years and know you can play....
for instance the jet camp is less than a mile down the street...my son played division ii football...he's excellent...he would pay them to be on the scout team if he could just wear a jersey!!!!!
can he get a shot at trying...he could be the next Wayne Crebet...

Answer
Al, your son needs to chase the Dream!  Anyone with talent has a chance to use it, so tell him to make contact until he gets the right ear to bend.  He may be shunned at the start, but if he is persistent, he will get to talk to the secretary of the Assistant Coach.  If he is prepared with tapes, clippings, statistics and heart, they will give him a chance to be a Walk On.
