College Football/walk on possibility?

Question
I was reading a story similar to mine about a guy wanting to walk-on at Michigan State. I have the same desire for the University of Colorado.
Unlike the Michigan State guy, I am not blessed with size. I am about 5'9", and weigh about 160 pounds soaking wet, but I go to the local rec center, where i also work, and work out everyday. My bench press is about 250 pounds, and my squat is approaching 400 pounds. My 40 yard dash time is about 4.6 seconds. I have played alot of sports including wrestling, track, hockey; but have never had the desire to excel or stick with anything. I know walking on at such a big time program may be impossible, but I just need one person to tell me it is possible. I do have the desire for football, I just dont know if my size will effect me.

Answer
Steven, Good Morning!

You have the chance if you've got the desire to stay disciplined.  You may not make it as a starter, but they would look at your speed on Special Teams.  Can you Kick?
Can you tackle?  Are you durable to play with injuries?

They would look at your pros and cons, so give your all out effort.  You will be very disappointed if you never tried out.  Get busy and contact them today!  They will tell you the requirements and schedules!!

Have a super career!
