College Life/I want to be a child psychologist

Question
Hello, I need help. Right now, I am doing a diploma in Early Childhood Education and I wish to pursue Child psychology as a career. Is that possible?

Answer
That would depend on your school. I think you should check with your guidance counselor. How far into the program are you and what type of degree? While some of your initial courses for the degree may be the same, most of the core classes are going to be different as psychology and education are very different.
People change their majors all the time. I really don't see your school giving you a hard time about this.
