Question
I was adopted from Colombia and come to find out the laywer who dealt with my adoption was arrested for kidnapping babies and selling them.  I would like to know what happened with his case, how do I go about finding out? This happened around 1981 and I know that in the article it said that he went to military court, would that make his case public record?  And how do I look that up is there some sort of website that I can acess this information?  Thank you for your help.

Answer
Hi Heather,
We work with a lot of adoptees and have come across a lot corruption specially back in the 80s.
In Colombia is very hard to get any court information, there is no website or central office where you can get it. However there are ways and we are familiar with them.
Please email me directly at info@colombianpossibilities.com so we can get more info.
Thanks
Marta
