Question
Good Morning:

I need to travel to Colombia next week and just find out my Colombian password expired on March of this year. My last name on this document is the same as my cedula de ciudadania....but now I had been a residente of the UF for more than 3 years....should I get the new colombian passport with my single last name or with my new last name? Also, what kind of paper work do I need and where should I go?
Thanks so much for any help,
Sandra C.

Answer
Hello,
You would have to renew it using your cedula, so it would appear with the name that appears in your cedula. You need to go to your nearest Colombian consulate, with a copy of your cedula, your cedula, 3 pictures in color with a light background, measuring 3.5 x 4.5 cm, and $102 dollars.
If you need anything else you can email me directly at info@colombianpossibilities.com
Thanks
Marta
