Question
PLEASE HELP, I NEED A LIST OF "IMPEDIMENTS TO MARRIAGE IN COLOMBIAN LAW" VERY URGENTLY. THE CONSULATE SAYS THERE IS NO SUCH THING BUT WE BELIEVE THERE MUST BE OTHERWISE HOW CAN ANYONE KNOW THAT THEY ARE ABLE TO MARRY? PLEASE HELP.

Answer
Hi Gloria,
Indeed there isn't such a thing as an independent document. Within the Constitution there is a specific section about marriage, it speaks about who can marry. It is of course written in Spanish and as far as I know there is no translation. The section that speaks on marriage is about 2 pages, I suppose it can be translated.
Please email me directly at info@colombianpossibilities, maybe with a little more info from you I can help you better.
Thanks
Marta
