Question
Is black a faux pas at a Columbian wedding?  I have a great black chiffon and sequined 1920's style (knee length) cocktail dress, but not sure if black would be breaking any traditions....I have apple green jewelry and a pashmina to throw over my shoulders for the church...is this OK?  Medium height sandals, open toe in black. ???? Help!

Answer
I am sorry for the delay in my answer, we are in the middle of a move and internet service was down for a couple of days.
Yes, black is totally appropriate for a wedding, that is of course depending on the weather of the city, for Bogota for example is totally fine. All your ensemble sounds also completely appropriate. Should you need anything else please email me back.
Have a good time at the wedding.
