i came to USA age 10 1958 i am now 61 years old  found my baptisimal certificate but it is a copy i need to get original birth sertificate in ordet to claim my social security  i don now how to obtain i am at a loss on what to do can you please help  thanks  oscar leschhorn gomez arrubla

Hi Oscar,
To obtain your birth certificate you need to do it directly with the Notary it is registered in, have it notarized there, have the signature of the notary authenticated and lastly have it apostilled.
