Question
Soy Ann, I have Paso Fino horses and like to participate in the "Costume" classes in the Paso Fino Shows.  The objective is to dress up and dress up your horse involving something or someone of Spanish or Latin American History (as the Paso Finos came from Spain originally and now mostly from Columbia, Puerto Rico and the US)..and write a story of 100 words or less.  We try to inform the public of the history of the Paso Finos and of Spanish and Latin American History.  Do you have any suggestions for me??  Most everyone does the Queens of Spain etc.  I like to be someone of less grandure, like a gal that sells flowers or a woman who makes clothing or?? or anything to do with the Paso Finos themselves.  Any suggestions you can give me will be greatly appreciated! Ciao

Answer
I don't know much about show horses but you can read some stuff here: (in Spanish)
http://www.lathania.com/historia.php
http://www.unaga.org.co/asociados/asdepaso.htm (history)

You can reach National Association of show horse breeders by writing them at bogota@asdepaso.com or by phone in Bogota, Colombia at this number 621-6567

Sorry I can't help more. Good luck.
