Question
hi I'm Colombian but resident in the states and was wondering if I need a tipe
of visa to go to Bolivia?

Answer
Hello,
Depends on the reason for your visit, if it is just for tourism, you do not need a visa, just need a valid Colombian passport.

If you are marrying, going to work or for business related purposes, if you are signing a contract, or a property deed you do need a visa. For this you need the following documents:
* Letter to the Bolivian Consul from employer in Bolivia or the person selling to you, or the person you are marrying, explaining the reason for your travel.
*Passport valid for at least 6 months.
*An $85 dollar payment to the Consulate

Hope this helps.
Thanks
