Dear Marta Ramirez,

We hope that you can help us, we are coming down to Colombia and landing on Cartagena Airport; our hotel is at Santa Marta, Magdalena, Colombia.  How far is it from Cartagena Airport to Santa Marta, Magdalena and how long is the ride?  How much is the transportation to there?  Your assistance to this matter is greatly appreciated.

By plane about 3 hours because there is no direct flight you have to fly to Bogota and from there to Santa Marta, round trip costs about $915. Clearly best thing is to do it by land. Distance by car from Cartagena to Santa Marta is about 3 hours and cost around $75 to $100 round trip.
