Question

Answer
Hi Jennifer,
We hope your daughter is doing better.
Obviously without a valid passport you cannot travel. You can easily renew it at any Colombian consulate.
You have to go to your nearest Colombian consulate (Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Houston, Los Angeles, Miami, New Orleans, New York city, San Francisco, San Juan, P R, Washington DC)with the following documents:

1. You need your Cédula (if you don't have a cedula you need to apply for one, for that you will need an original authenticated copy of your birth certificate)
2. Old passport, if lost you have to do a written statement saying you lost it addressed to the Consulate.
3. Three (3) color pictures, recent, of 3.5 x 4.5 cm, front view with a light background.
4. Money Order for US$102.00, written to Consulado de Colombia

If you need help obtaining any documents we can help, email me directly at info@colombianpossibilities.com or call us 703-652-3850
