Hi Marta...You have knowledge of travel, so I thought I would ask you this question. I have met a girl who lives in Cali and we would like to meet. I am very concerned about safty and would like to meet her at a friend of mine's resort in Costa Rica. What would she have to do to meet me there or am I just buying into the State Depts. propaganda and I should just go meet her in Cali?

Hi Tracy,
I would sugget you meet her in Colombia, if you do not want to see her in Cali, which crime rate is going up, invite her to Santa Mata or Cartagena. They are tourist areas with beautiful beaches that are very heavily guarded, so safe if you are a smart traveler.
