hola marta, i will be moving to bogota in july of 2010 and am very curious to know what to expect as far as an american being able to work as a machinist with a very high level of expierence .

i have worked in the manufacturing industry for 30 years and am very diversified with many skills .

Hi Rick,
This is a tricky question to answer without knowing more about your expertise. But a machinist in Colombia does not make very much money. It is considered a tech job an I would not expect more than $600 USD a month. Perhaps I can do a little research for you, please email me at info@colombianpossibilities.com
