Hello there,
I am an Australian citizen traveling Colombia now on a tourist visa, and have payed for my maximum 2 extensions. I am in love with a great Colombian man and we want to get married. When we do, I would like to know what sort of visa I shall receive because we want to live here. I know that we can quite easily get married in the notary office, but need to know about how I can stay here after that. Thanks so much for you help! Looking forward to a quick reply, thanks again!! Hi Eve,
Once you are married you can apply for a Spousal Visa, which will give you residency and later you can apply for your citizenship. You can marry at a Notary, you just need to know how to do it.
