Question
Hi... My girlfriend lives in Cucuta and has no Colombian  passport. Does she have to go to Bogota to obtain a passport? What is the timeline? I realize that an appointment at the USA Embassy is needed for a US visa. Also, I am planning to visit her in June for a week with a few days stay in Pamplona to beat the heat. Any tips? Mucho gracias!

Answer
Hi Sid,
No she does not need to travel to Bogota, she can do it in Cucuta. She can obtain it in 2 days max. Our agency provides Visa services, either tourist, fiancee or spousal visas, if you are interested email us at info@colombianpossibilities.com
Pamplona is a small town, 60 or so thousand people. There is not much to see, other than the historic sites, museums and churches. I would suggest Bucaramanga, or el Canon de Chicamocha, it is close to Cucuta, about and lots to do if you are into nature and rafting and such.
Let me know if we can help any further.
Thanks
Marta
