Question
Dear Marta,
My wife is a Colombian citizen with permanent resident alien status in the U.S.  Am I able, as her husband, to apply for and acquire dual Colombian citizenship?  Thank you for your assistance.
Warren

Answer
Hi Warren,
Yes you can. You can first get a spouse visa, with that and after 2 years of residing in Colombia you can obtain your citizenship. You have to live in Colombia, but you can travel and as long as you do not stay out of the country for more than 3 months you qualify for citizenship.
If you have any other questions or would like assistance in teh process you can reach us directly at info@colombianpossibilities.ocm
Thanks
Marta
