Hi Marta. My husband and I are US citizens. What do we have to do to move to Colombia? become residents? What if we wanted to start a business?? Any info would be great!Thank you!

First let me apologize for the delay in my answer, I had to go our of town unexpectedly.
There are a couple of ways you can legally stay in Colombia. There is an investor's visa, which requires you to invest a minimum of $100.000 USD, that can include residences and business.
You can also apply, if you qualify, for a retirement visa, which requires you to be receiving retirement benefits from the U.S.
