Hi Martha, Do I need an appointment at the Consulado in DC for a passport renewal? is the fee still US$102? I have the old cedula. What do I need and how much It cost to request the new one?

Hello,
For a passport renewal you do not need an appointment. Hours for passport renewal are from 9AM to 12PM. Go early. Cost is $117 dollars. You need your cedula, your old passport (2 copies of both of these), 3 pics, and money.
Please keep in mind that you need to renew your old cedula befor ethe year is up. You do need an appointment to renew a cedula. You need your old cedula, 3 pics, know your blood type. There is no cost to this.
