I was just wondering what the cheapest and safest way to get to Bogota from Panama City is. I've heard that it's nearly impossible to back pack through the wilderness in the southernmost tip of panama and into Colombia but I was wondering if you might know of any local guides or anything of that nature willing to make the journey on foot or by boat.

Hi Jacob,
Please DO NOT attempt to back pack through the border of Panama and Colombia, this would be EXTREMELY DANGEROUS and foolish.
By boat you can do it, there are boats leaving from Panama depending on weather and sea conditions. Just do a search and you will find info.
