Question
My Mother was recently diagnosed with cancer. She has it in her liver as a secondary. They belive the primary is in her colon. They told her without treatment her prognosis would be 4 to 6 months. Her liver however is a stage 4. With your experience, what kind of odds does she have with treatment?
With treatment her survival time will at best be prolonged and any symptoms temporarily relieved - but at the cost of side effects. Any cure is unfortunately impossible though one or a few temporary remission(s) may happen. There are so big individual variations that I can not give you any odds about those things.
