Question
I have trouble having a bm and I think I have a weekly migraine as a result.Is it possible to have a colon blockage that is causing it and what type of test would need to be done to find out?  If a colonoscopy is suggested, is there a test not as drastic?

Answer
If indeed you do have a large bowel blockage it should be investigated and the BEST and SUREST way of doing that is a colonoscopy! Yes it is perhaps not pleasant to do, but nor is a colonic enema x-ray examination and the colonoscopy is so much better.
