Question
My mother is originally from Sweden. She has dual citizenship, being both Swedish and American. She was dx with colon ca with mets to the lymph nodes back in 8/06. Nowin 12/07 it's back in her mesentary and omentum. Do you know what her mortality rate would be and do you reside in Sweden? Would it be possible for my mother to receive treatment from you? She does have an oncologist here?

Answer
So it must unfortunately be staged as a stage IV (4) now. That means that it is not curable and all that chemo therapy can do is to prolong her survival time and for a time decrease her symptoms. Her illness will eventually turn fatal. It is unfortunately impossible to predict her survival time with any accuracy, both cancers and patients are individuals not clones. Yes I live in Sweden. But I have retired completely (except from the internet) after a stroke. So I do not work at all any more. Sorry!
