Question
I was diagnosed with CT about 8 mo ago with the above condition. Since then I periodically have attacks(lt sided severe pain that lasts only seconds). Recently I have the pain every morning before a bowel movement and then a crampy feeling. I had another CT which was normal. I have had a total hyst and ooph. I will be having a colon in a week(had a neg one 5 yrs ago). No change in bowels-no other symptoms. My doc has never treated epiploic appenditis with torsion. Can you help me with info? Is it normal to keep feeling this. Could this be a cancer? Thank you.Darla

Answer
This is a question that should better be directed to an expert of surgery so it is mostly outside my area of expertise. However if BOTH CT scans (including also contrast) and a colonoscopy fail to show any signs of a cancer, a cancer is most probably most improbable! Good luck!
