The text above is a follow-up to ...
I am just not ready to go to a colostomy, I did have a temporary one for several months. Is there any special diets? Should I colon-cleanse often? Since my stool does not seem to be emptying daily at all?

-----Question-----
After going through colon cancer & pre-surgery chemo & radiation. My Colon developed an absest at the anastamosis. I do not believe that it has healed yet 18 months later. My question is, is it normal for me to have problems with leakage from my bowel. I will probably never have a normal stool again and I am aware of that. Since I will have a bowel movement several times a day---everyday, I just want to be able to BM and not walk away and have more stool spill out. I do not have the muscle control obviously. But is there a normal amount of this occurring?
-----Answer-----
Unfortunately this happens not too rarely. It may have been better if they had given you a colonostomy with a permanent bag for your stools. Without an examination it is hard to give you more precise advice. I suggest you discuss your options with your surgeon.

Answer
As I told you without an examination of my own it is not possible to give you detaied advice. What should be done including diets etc. is something you must discuss with your surgeon.

Sir, I have informed you what to do! To give you any other answer would be unethical. That you do not like the reply is something I can not do anything about!
