Colon Cancer/rectal pylops

Question
About five years ago I had three benign pylops removed.  Recently I had the strangest dyherrea.  It was green as baby spinach.  I had absolutely nothing to eat or drink to cause this.  It only lasted a day.  Could a pylop have opened?  What color are pylops anyway?  Hope this is not a silly question.  thank you

Answer
It is possible that you may have a new polype even though there are many other possible causes. The colour of your diarrhea has nothing to do with the colour of a polype though the latter has the same colour as the inner lining of your rectum - actually the same colour as the inner lining of your mouth. Let a surgeon check you and then you will know!
