Colorado/Average Temperatures

QuestionI would like to know the average high and low temperatures during the winter and summer for the Rocky Mountains area. I need this information for a school project and have had difficulty locating it on the web. Thank you so much.
AnswerI'll try and answer this question as I find it very interesting. The temperatures in Colorado can vary greatly. It can be 90 degrees down in the valley on the western slope and snowing on top of the Continental Divide.
The northern part of the state can average 5-10 degrees cooler then the central part and then 5-10 degrees warmer in the southern part.
The winter temperatures can range from below zero to the 30-40 range. In the summer it can get up to over 100 degrees. The average is around 85-90 degrees. Of course up in the mountains it is cooler then on the plains of the eastern slope, and the desert of the western slope.
You always want to carry a jacket, in the summer, as it gets quite cool in the evenings, up high.
It is a dry heat in Colorado, so 30 degrees in Colorado, feels warmer then 30 degrees in a place of high humidity.
I hope this helps you out.
