Colorado/Colorado Activities

QuestionHi!
I've always held a interest in CO, and people that I've talked to have had nothing but wonderful things to say about the state. As I am nearing my college graduation, I'm pondering thoughts of relocating (I'm a Washington state native) and CO seems like a possibility. I was hoping to plan a trip down there in the next few months to just get a "feel" for the area (I suppose as much as you can within a short amount of time), but I was looking for suggestions on places you think I should see/do. Any information would be helpful. Thank You.
Sincerely,
Lindsay
AnswerSorry for the delay. I am on travel right now.
As stated in my profile, I am an expert on the area of Estes Park up in Rocky Mountain National Park. So that is the area I highly recommend.
Since you are nearing college graduation, perhaps you are also considering an advanced degree. The University of Colorado at Boulder is right on the way to the Parks. It is a very good school.
Down south a ways from Denver is also another spot I like for both exploring and entertainment. Colorado Springs hosts the Garden of the Gods as well as the Red Rocks outdoor concert arena.
Denver and Colorado Springs are very fast growing areas right now business-wise and residence-wise. The temperate climate in the Springs is quite nice year-round with the mountains just a two-hour drive away. The big business growth right now is all high-tech. The upcoming moon/Mars expeditions are also part of the job growth.
