Question
Are you familiar with The Boomerang Hotel on Hopkins St in Aspen? If so, how would you rate it?
Any suggestions for a hotel or B & B in Aspen? Thanks

Answer
Ronnie,
I only know a little bit about the Boomerang.  As compared to other hotels in Aspen, it isn't as fancy, which isn't to say that it's not nice.  Relatively simple accommodations, but still has the mountain feeling.  It isn't ritzy but it's far better than Best Western or Holiday Inn.  As for B&Bs, check out http://www.bbonline.com/co/shenandoah/index.html  It has a great location, outside of Aspen on the Frying Pan River, very scenic.  In Aspen, check out http://www.hearthstonehouse.com/  Very nice, fancy, etc.  Last place, Sardy House, very Aspen.  It has the Victorian architecture that you'll find all around Aspen with the little houses.  I don't have a website for them, but I'm sure you'd be able to find something.  Good luck and have fun.

I currently live in Colorado and enjoy skiing. I have adequate knowledge of Denver and the many of the ski areas around knowledge. I would like to help out people who are looking to travel to Denver and hope to ski. I know I can give them a good idea of what to do and where to go.
