Colorado/Relocating
Expert: Sherry Pacino - 10/20/2004
QuestionAloha and thank you for your time,
My wife and I are thinking of relocating to Colorado, we are both teachers.
I just wanted to know what the lifestyle was in Colorado (we looked at Grand Junction as a possibility). I understand that Trinidad is far from Grand Junction by miles and maybe culturally but we just wanted to get a general idea of the state. How is that for a vague question? Anyways any information you could share would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks again,
Mark
AnswerHi Mark,
I live in Trinidad, which is a small quiet town in Southern Colorado. We have Santa Fe, NM approx. 150 miles south of here and Pueblo, CO approx. 80 miles north of here. We have Trinidad State Jr. College located here, which is a two year college that offers dorms, we have a few fast food places, some nice dine in restaurants and of course, a Wal-Mart. Some streets are still brick, which adds to the historical look and there are a lot of things to see and do. I have included a couple of web links for Trinidad, please check them out and let me know if have any more specific questions. I will be happy to help.

Yes, Grand Junction is quite a drive from here and I have never been there, but I have included a couple of links to Grand Junction and hopefully you can find the answers you are looking for within those.
