Question
Jake:
You sound like just the PERFECT answer to my prayers. I will be arriving in Denver on Saturday, in January and have all day Sunday to ski. Do you have any suggestions for a close to Denver location that isn't too far to drive - maximum 1 - 1.5 hours please.
I;m from Miami and don't need an advanced ski area. Thank you so much. ALso how do I find out your answer?

Answer
Linda,
My best suggestion is Loveland ski area.  It's about an hours drive from Denver, maybe not quite that far.  It's somewhat small but does have beginner all the way to expert.  It's also rather inexpensive for Colorado skiing.  You can find out detailed lift ticket info. at http://www.skiloveland.com  I hope this information helps and if you have any other questions, don't hesitate to ask.

I currently live in Colorado and enjoy skiing. I have adequate knowledge of Denver and the many of the ski areas around knowledge. I would like to help out people who are looking to travel to Denver and hope to ski. I know I can give them a good idea of what to do and where to go.
