Question
An advertising executive ends up in a mental institution and the patients there come up with advertising slogans that are original and highly successful.  One is about VOLVO-good but boxy-something like that, another is for Panasonic. I'm going nuts trying to remember the name of this movie and the comedic actor who starred in it. Can you help?

i think you're thinking of a Dudley Moore film called "Crazy People"

this film is from 1990 tho,  not the 70's.  it's very funny.

I know funny. My husband knows slapstick. between the two of us, we know most of the funny movies and who stars/directed them. we`re particularly fond of movie bloopers, and can recite verbatim from films like caddyshack, meatballs, animal house etc. huge bill murray fans, as well as robin williams and steve martin.
