AboutApril Expertise I know funny. My husband knows slapstick. between the two of us, we know most of the funny movies and who stars/directed them. we`re particularly fond of movie bloopers, and can recite verbatim from films like caddyshack, meatballs, animal house etc. huge bill murray fans, as well as robin williams and steve martin.
Experience i'm in my late 40's looking at 50 looming ahead. it's not a pretty site, but the good news is, i have seen alotta films.
Started to watch a movie in March of 1993 about a family sitting around a dinner table after the death of the family patriarch. It's a dark comedy, I believe it starts out with the elderly mother, adult kis and grandchildren sitting around a long dinner table discussing where they go now that the dad has passed on.
Focused on the family now lost for leadership, what direction and who takes over to lead the family. I believe the family was of Italian heritage so of course meeting at a big italian feast is central.
I rented it from Blockbuster in March 1993-it had been out for a couple of years as I recall. I didn't get to watch much; I got a call from my mother once I started watching it- my dad just passed away and EMS was at the house.
Can you help?
Answer typically, this would be my area of expertise. however, i'll need a bit more info as nothing is leaping to the foreground.
were there any stars in the film? was it a blockbuster or an independent film?
i have been researching this, and can't come up with the film!
