Question
QUESTION: Hi, I am trying to find the name of an old, funny movie.I have only scant recollection of the end, as I never saw the beginning.I think it was black & white and at the end the main character was part of a chariot race in a Roman stadium. He was just about to come a cropper when he woke up under a tree, with a book. I got the impression that he had gone to sleep while reading a history book and the movie was his dreams of being involved in past events.
Hope you are a miracle worker and can help. Regards  Jen

ANSWER: after some research i'm afraid i've come up with nothing.   :(

do you remember when the film was made?  were there any stars appearing in it maybe?  any extra information you can provide would be helpful.

i'll continue to research this for you tho...
