My husband knows slapstick. between the two of us, we know most of the funny movies and who stars/directed them. we`re particularly fond of movie bloopers, and can recite verbatim from films like caddyshack, meatballs, animal house etc. huge bill murray fans, as well as robin williams and steve martin.

Question
this film was about a ballet teacher who had to share a hall with a boys basketball team who were always losing.
She taught them ballet and how to jump.
There was a romance between the two teachers. Australian or American I think. 80's or 90's. It could have been a TV special.
