Question
Dear Mark,

This may not be your area, but perhaps you could direct me somewhere. It is regarding 2000AD comics. I have issue one (or prog. one as it is known in dreddspeak!) in good condition, and about 60 progs in the 400 range from 1985 to 1987, ranging from good to reasonable condition. They are all the U.K. editions. Do you have a rough idea of how much I should sell them for.

Any help you could give me would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks a lot

Tony

Answer
Hi Tony,

Best thing I can suggest is to go to the eBay web site to check out what the series is going for there.  You can do a search of current and completed auctions and this will give you some indication of what to expect if you decide to sell them.

Most of the issues I've seen listed on eBay in the past seem to sell anywhere from $1 to $8.  I don't know how well issues in the 400 range specifically do.

If you decide that the prices these are selling for on eBay are lower than what you are expecting or want, you may want to check out some other sites that cater to comic book collectors.  One site I like is ioffer.com.  The site is fairly new but they have a decent amount of traffic.  And,  they do not charge fees for listing your items.  You only pay a percentage of the final sales price.

Hope this helps,

Mark
