If I have a 1st ed. Star Wars, is it worth anything?

When you say first edition, are you saying the first edition of the first issue? If so, this issue does have some value, especially if it is in like-new condition.
Are you confident that you have a first edition? The early Star Wars issues were reprinted several times, with only minor differences between the first edition and later printings.
