Question

Buck Rogers in the yea
I have a color page printed on a non-newspaper stock estimated to have run approx in 1930-31. "Buck Rogers in the year 2431 A.D."
In the top panel (running the width of the page) is etched or hand printed in reverse the following "18-TES ETALP-YEK" (Key-Plate Set-81.
What exactly is this (the printer's proof?) and is it valuable?

Answer
Hi Scott

I'm not 100% sure what this is.  My guess, however, is that it is something printed more recently that reprints a 1930-31 Buck Rogers page in a deluxe format.  What exactly kind of stock is it on?

I don't believe there were printer's proofs of these old pages in this type of format.  At least, I have never seen one or heard of one before.
