I've had I'm my possession a couple of old Marvel Special Edition Star Wars
comic books, and their pretty large, my question is:
About how much would comics like these go for on the collectors market now
days?

Hi Michael,

Depends on which ones you have.  Based on the current Overstreet Guide, issues 1 and 2 are valued at $18 in Near Mint condition while issue 3 is valued at $24.  If the comics show any wear then the values would be lower.

Despite the values listed in the price guide, I usually don't see these selling for much more than $2-$5 on eBay, but these are ones that are usually graded lower than Near Mint (typically Very Good grade issues). I've also seen some listed at less than $5 that didn't sell at all.

I think any real demand for these died off after the last film was released.  Of course, if you have high grade copies, then there is always a demand for those.
