I have the complete collection of 1964 Archie Series The Shadow 1-8. The first issue has a tear about an inch up on the spine, only on the cover. Other than that the pages are probably considered to be off-white. #2 has tan colored pages and a date written on the back. #3 has a crease on the spine, off-white pages. #4 has a crease in bottom corner, off-white pages, and a date written on the back. #5 has off-white and a date written on the back. #6 has a small fold on corner and a date written on the back. #7 has rough edges on the front and back cover and the date written on the back. #8 has some rough edges and a date written on the back.

Sorry I didn't get the original message on this from AllExperts.  The comics you mention are really not that in demand.  A set of the same 8 issues you describe but in better condition recently sold on eBay for $30.  You might be able to sell them as a set as well on eBay for somewhere between $10 and $30.  I doubt you would be able to find a comic store interested in purchasing them.
