Question I recently bought a box of odds and ends at a garage sale. While going through the box I found 5 issues of Magnus Robot Fighter 4000 AD. The issues are: 10046-302 (No. 1, Feb. 1963), 10046-711 (No. 20, Nov. 1967), 10046-911 (No. 28, Nov. 1969), 90046-508 (No. 40, Aug. 1975), and No. 45 (Oct. 1976). I know nothing about comic books so I was hoping you could reveal some information about these and possibly reveal their worth, if anything. Thanks in advance.
Answer Hi Shaina,
It's difficult for me to give a value without being able to see the condition of the comic. Based on past experience, I know that there are collectors of that title but they usually don't sell for much.
To get an idea on their value, I would suggest taking a look at comicspriceguide.com. The web site can be used for free to look up the current value of the comics plus they offer tips on how to grade a comic book which is key in determining it's value.
Next thing I would do is look at completed sales on eBay to see how much those particular comics are actually selling for. That should give you some idea of what to expect if you decide to sell them.
Hope this helps. Let me know if you have any other questions.
