About Chris Brown
Expertise
I have extensive knowledge on comic books published from 1897 through 1975. My knowledge goes beyond superheroes to include early strip reprints from 1897-1930 or so, science fiction, horror comics of the 50s and 70s, love, crime, satire and other genres. I can provide advice on buying or selling comics as well as answering general queries.

Experience
I am a longtime collector and occasional seller of older comics.

Subject: Star Wars Comic 02817

Question
I recently found a Star Wars Comic from when I was a kid and am trying to determine it's value if any.  Mar 9 02817 MARVEL COMICS GROUP. "The Cloud Riders" edition(?).  Cover price at 35 cent and has UPC code on cover.

Any insight?

Answer
Hi Nick

You have not provided enough information on this comic for me to give you any idea of its value.  The issue number should appear on the front cover and also in the indicia at the bottom of the first page.

If it is issue #9, it has a price guide value of around $10 in perfect, like-new condition.  If in less than like-new condition, it is maybe worth a couple dollars.

Chris
