Question
I recently found an old bxk of comic books. (from the 70's & 80's)  Where can I find a good resource to price them?

Thanks for your help!

Answer
Hi Anna

Most comics from the 70s and 80s are not going to be worth too much, although there are some issues that break the trend.

You can buy an Overstreet Comic Book Price Guide at any comic book store or at most large bookstores (like Borders or Barnes & Noble) in the "collectibles" section.  It will cost around $30.  You could likely find used copies from the last couple years that would still be pretty accurate and would be cheaper at any of the online sites for buying used books, like www.abebooks.com, www.half.com, or the vendor section of www.amazon.com.

There is also an online site at www.nostomania.com that provides pricing info.  You have to create an account to access it, but signing up is free.  However, if you use this site, don't pay attention to their prices for high-grade copies, as they are wildly over-inflated.
