Question
I have an Ella Cinders Get Well Card drawn by Fred Fox. I can not find any information tying all three topics together. Any ideas? United Feature Syndicate, Inc. is on the back as well as MADE IN THE U.S.A. Thanks!

Answer
Hi Andy

According to Wikipedia, Fred Fox took over the Ella Cinders strip in the 50s, and it ran until 1961.

So your card is probably from that period.  I am not familiar with this specific card but there were various types of greeting cards distributed with cartoon characters over the past 50 or so years.  One set I am aware of was a set of 16 Christmas cards from the 50s, with each card featuring a different comic strip character (and all drawn by the artists who drew the strips).  Your card sounds like a neat item!
