Question

Star Wars Comic Book
Hello,
I found a Star Wars comic book in my husband's childhood things.  I was looking online to see where to see if it was worth anything or something we could just get rid of.  But I found it written in the response to one of your questions.  It is a Marvel comics group.  Star Wars comics.  It has a white diamond in the upper left hand corner with 35 cents and #1 written in it.  There is a little pointy bubble that says "Fabulous First Issue" and a blank white rectange verticle in the bottom left hand corner.  Its still in a plastic covering and doesn't look like it ever been used.  I opened it and looked in the front cover and the copy right in 1977.

I was just wondering if this is worth anything.

Thanks, Kristi

Answer
Hi Kristi

Unfortunately, the blank box at the lower left hand corner indicates that this is a later reprint edition rather than the first edition.  Consequently, this comic does not have much collector value.  This issue lists in the price guide as being worth $4 if in perfect condition.
