I e-mailed another expert on the site and is what he had to say. I know the Borderers exist but really not much more than that.

"DeranI don't recognize the name nor can I find it anywhere. I don't think its a real thing. The only mention of Superguardians is during Grant Morrison's run when the Shi'ar Imperial Guard come to Earth because of Cassandra Nova and she kicks all their asses."
